– Raritan receives 5-Star Channel Partner rating and makes CRN Data Center 100 list; Raritan SVP Gary Marks is named CRN Channel Chief –
SOMERSET, N.J. (April 2, 2012) – Raritan today announced that its partner program has been awarded a 5-Star rating from CRN for the fifth consecutive year. The 5-Star rating comes on the heels of Raritan being named to CRN’s Data Center 100 list, and Raritan’s Gary Marks, Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing, being named a CRN 2012 Channel Chief.
According to CRN, the methodology used for the 2012 Partner Program Guide and 5-Star rating takes into account a vendor’s investments in program offerings, partner profitability, partner training, education and support, marketing programs, sales support and communication. “The 5-Star award is reserved for vendors that understand that a successful partnership does not rely solely on the technology,” said Kelley Damore, VP and Editorial Director, for UBM Channel’s CRN. “By offering their partners tools, education and regular updates, vendors on this list go above and beyond traditional support to ensure a mutually beneficial partnership.”
Earlier this year, the editors of CRN selected Raritan for the CRN Data Center 100 list because the company is a leading provider of IT infrastructure solutions to manage power efficiency and improve data center productivity. The annual list features the top 100 vendors powering the data center with cutting-edge technologies that have “demonstrated an ability to increase data center efficiency, performance and ROI, while reducing energy consumption, waste and cost.”
This is the fourth consecutive year that Raritan’s Gary Marks has been recognized by CRN. The publication’s annual “Channel Chief” list includes the most influential leaders in the IT channel, and recognizes those executives directly responsible for driving channel sales and growth within their organization, while evangelizing and defending the importance of the channel throughout the entire IT Industry.
“It is tremendous to be recognized by CRN for both our partner programs and for our data center solutions,” said Marks. “I want to personally thank our valued partners and customers, and the entire Raritan team. Together, we have helped advance more efficient data centers using DCIM and energy management solutions. Thanks to our combined efforts, customers are able to manage their IT infrastructures and resources more efficiently and nimbly in order to deliver business value. I look forward to working with our channel and alliance partners to build on our success and momentum.”
Raritan’s DCIM and other management solutions help data centers better manage and utilize resources. They provide innovative ways to solve data center issues—such as reducing energy use and costs for power and cooling, finding infrastructure capacity, and using more-efficient ways to add servers, make changes and monitor performance.
